    Default $100+ games, let's make a list

After getting most of the common and uncommon games for my systems, I'm getting down to the rare games that I need to get to complete my collection. (I'm not trying for every game made for the systems, just the best and my favorites). This brings me to some $100 and up games. I'm wondering what some of the are and what they go for. What system has the most? (I'd sure it's the Neo Geo, but I don't collect that, only NES, SNES TG16/PCE, Genesis, Sega Cd, Saturn, PS1/2, N64, DC, Xbox, GC, GB/GBC/GBA and some 3DO and 2600)
    Here's some I know of:
    Steel Battalion (XB)
    Panzer Dragoon Saga (SS)
    Radiant Silvergun (SS)
    Panorama Cotton (Gen)
    Dracula X (PCE)
    Bonk 3 (TG16Duo)
    Magical Chase (TG16)
Bubble Bobble 2 (NES) has gone for over $100
    Stadium Events (NES)
Hot Slots and Bubble Bath Babes (NES)
That's off the top of my head, anybody got any more?

Well, there's always Quadrun (which I own) $300+ and Chase the Chuckwagon $75-100+ (which I also have), both for the 2600

Air Raid (2600), the NWCs (NES), Starfox and Donkey Kong competition (SNES) and PeekaBoo Poker (NES) are all well over 100 bucks. Dragonball GT:FB (PSX) is also way over and Suikoden 2 (PSX) is from time to time. The vast majority of NeoGeo stuff goes for over 100. Battlesphere (JAG) sells for 200+.
As for pre-NES, there are quite a few just for the 2600, but I'm sure one of the classic collectors here would be more informed than me.

Power Lords for the Odyssey 2 can fetch an insane price if it's boxed with docs. The proof is in my check register from two years ago. :P

Well....Alien Soldier (Gen) does not exist, but Alien Soldier (PAL MD) exists and it's around $100, and Alien Solider (Jp MD) is around $250.

Others $100+ games off the top of my head:

    Eliminate Down (Jp MD) $150
    Gleylancer (Jp MD) $150
    Rockman Megaworld (Jp MD) $150+
Mega Man Wily Wars (PAL MD) $100
Vampire Killer aka Castlevania Bloodlines (Jp MD) $300
    Slap Fight (Jp MD) $100+
    Sylphia (PCE) $150
    Dungeon Explorer 2 (TG16 Duo) $100
Dungeons & Dragons Collection w/RAM cart (Saturn) $150
    Hyper Duel (Saturn) $100
    Fausette Amour (PCE) $100+
    Sapphire (PCE) $300+
    Faselei (NGPC UK) $100
    Lucienne's Quest (3DO) $100+
    Rez w/Trance Vibrator (Jp PS2) $100
    Suikoden 2 (PSX)
    Snatcher (Sega CD) $100
    Sengoku Blade (Saturn) $100
    Dynastic Hero (TG16 CD) $150
    Magical Chase (TG16) $150
Darius Alpha (PCE) $1000 (yes really!)
Metal Slug (Neo Geo AES) $2500 (again...really!)
Iron Clad (Neo Geo CD) $200

I'm sure there's TONS more, but that's off the top of my head and rough estimates in prices, all when I'm sleepy (could be wrong on a few)!

I'm not gonna list them all, but there are plenty of Neo Geo homecarts and a few MVS carts/kits that go for over 100 bucks.

Expensive hobby, but with games like Blazing Star, Samurai Shodown series, Last Blade, Viewpoint, Twinkle Star Sprites, Baseball Stars 2, Metal Slug series, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, it's all worth it.

I've seen a complete NES Stack Up go for over $100 on Ebay...32X Spiderman may be on that list as well by now.

    Default Hmm

I have to question some of those Megadrive values..

no.1 - Alien Soldier, PAL version. I have not seen this go for anywhere near $100 for a long time. Last couple I saw went for more like $50 - $60.

Rockman Megaworld (jp) - I have never ever seen this go for $150 .. maybe $80 at the maximum. The PAL version, again, more like $60 - $70 for the ones I have seen recently.

However, Yu Yu Hakushu Battle for the Megadrive easily goes for $100. Pocket Reversi for the UK NGPC would fetch that easily as well... it has gone for over $600 in the past. I don't know about in the US, but here in the UK Chrono Trigger will easily sell for $100, more often $120 - $150 (boxed and in good condition). Metal Slug Deluxe edition (box set with RAM cart) on the Saturn can make it to the $100 mark, although it is borderline... depends where you get it from. Sengoku Blaede for the Saturn also. And, of course, Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Battle Ace routinely goes for under 40 bucks on eBay, as does Darius Plus...you're right on with 1941 though.

Some complete Intellivision games went over $100 on Ebay fairly recently, if I remember correctly... Congo Bongo, Tutankhamun, um...Stadium Mud Buggies and Chip Shot Pro Golf, I think.

Conversational French would probably go that high too, but I'm not sure if that's a "regular production" game or just a proto.

Battle Mania Daiginjoh (aka Battle Mania 2, Trouble Shooter 2) for the Japanese Mega Drive will normally run over a hund . . . er, twenty bucks. If you have a copy, I'd be glad to take it off of your hands, since it's an awful game that no one should be forced to own.
