Default Wanted: Original XBOX replacement power cable

    Hi all,
Looking for an XBOX power cable. Needs to be this version as I don't know what P/S mine has and would rather minimize the risk of setting the house on fire.

The cable I have now is the same version but seems to be shot since it pops as soon as I plug it in (even when unplugged from the console). Tried multiple outlets, same result.

If ya got one kicking around, PM me please. Thanks!

Never seen one of those before. What Model Xbox are they for?

That is the replacement power cord you could send off for free back in the day if you had an early model Xbox. Late model Xbox systems might have came out with it as well, not sure.

Hm that's odd, they sent me a replacement automatically back when they had the recall thing but it had no wall wart on it. To be honest it looked just exactly like the original one they sent in the box except for the sticker wrapped aruond the cord and that magnetic filter thing bump

Those are mainly for the delta psu's as the psu had weak solder joints, its a easy fix if you can solder.

How can you tell if your Xbox has a delta psu?

Will it say delta psu on it? How did you fix yours?

order one from monster, i got mine liquidated at like $6. It was designed for those who originally didn't want to wait for the mail in replacement.

When I got my replacement cord sent it did not have the GFI plug on it. It was just a heavier gage wire. Never seen the one in the pic.

I've seen that one several times. Its supposed to prevent your house from burning down but as already mentioned the real fix is to resolder two points on the PSU.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

But if you're not handy with a soldering iron and/or don't feel like cracking open your console, this is a perfectly acceptible fix.
