Default Games you used to own that you miss?

Somebody on another forum started this topic, I thought it would be interesting to discuss here as well. Games you used to have, but for some reason no longer do, and wish you did.

Personally, I used to have a nearly-complete Mega Man collection for the NES and SNES, but sold all of them except for MM3 and MMX1. Those are the games I most want back.

Also, Hook on the Sega CD. I'm honestly thinking of getting a new Sega CD just for this game (yes I know the SNES and Genesis versions are similar, but I liked this one the best).

So what are some of yours?

I used to have this problem, but I now own every game I lost or got rid of again.

Games I have parted with at some point by theft/trade/sale
    Adventure Island -NES trade
    Cybernoid -NES trade
Sparkster - SNES lost in bet
    Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island-SNES stolen
    Super Mario World -SNES stolen
    Donkey Kong Country-SNES stolen
Super Mario World 2:Yoshi's Island-GBA stolen
    Whiplash -PC stolen
    Sonic CD -PC stolen

I have all the ones back that I wanted back, but I used to be a crack addict when it came to trading in my games to Funcoland/Gamestop so the list is too long to remember.

One I just got back recently was Crystalis for the NES. Love that game.

This does not compute. If I miss something, I just buy it again. If I don't currently own it, I don't miss it.

Thunder Blade and Choplifter for Master System - I traded them away for peanuts and now I have no SMS games, for shame.

Jurassic Park Rampage Edition on Genesis, had it and was stolen along with S&K. Both are missed to be sure.
    Whaddya mean invalid parameters?!

9,000 gigs of ram and it still can't answer a simple question!

You could have owned a game that you loved, but sold for some reason (to pay bills or something).

Then you regret selling it, but when you try to buy it again, you find out it's a super rare game worth thousands, something you are not willing to buy or just can't purchase for some reason (economic factors).

So thus, even though you want it, you miss it.

What kirby said is exactly what's happened to me--I simply can't afford to re-buy everything I've sold.

A long time ago I lost Illusion of Gaia for SNES and went on to miss it very much. I forget how much time passed since that happened, but the day I convinced my dad to buy me another company was one of the happiest of my life.

To a much smaller extent, I currently miss Ardy Lightfoot (also SNES).

I still have every game I've ever owned. I miss some of the stuff my brother had, though, like his Pac-Man watch and his NES games (the few I've yet to acquire for myself).

What I do really miss are my game boxes prior to '99 or so, which I had been throwing away. Who wants to kick me for throwing out the boxes for Harvest Moon on SNES and Castlevania Legends? Oh how much more my copies would be worth if I just saved those blasted pieces of cardboard.

The ones I've gotten rid of was just retarded on my part. I do want them back, but even if I did own them, they'd just be collecting dust as I rarely use the original console to play them anymore. So haven't been too worried about getting another copy.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Planescape Torment, bought new by me and sold off on ebay about 8 years ago. The shit who bought it left a negative because the box had a couple light scratches you could only see in the light. He probably didn't even play it, just sat on his shelf.

    TMNT - Nes
Bart Vs. The World - Nes
    Bubble Bobble 1 + 2 - Nes

    Lion King - Gen
    Toy Story - Gen

Games I grew up playing but lost between then and now. What the hell did my parents do with my old gaming systems??

    X-COM: UFO Defense - PSX
    Lunar: Eternal Blue - PSX
    Warhawk - PSX
    Killer Instinct Gold - N64
    Jet Force Gemini - N64

All hastily traded in at the same time for a new game or two during a period of moneylessness with the thought, "I've played these old games so much, I'll surely never come back to them after witnessing all the next gen gaming power." I miss X-COM most of all, despite its dated-even-for-its-time graphics, clunky interface and long loads, it was a true classic. It's also pretty expensive. Irony.

I also miss my LCD games:
    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    Sonic the Hedgehog
    Tiger Electronics Pinball

I just do not understand where these went, I've searched everywhere. Twice.

I miss my Boing!, trying to buy that again...impossible

Another casualty is my Atari Corp Hangman from mid 80s, grey box with colour photo and cart colour label. Finding that ever again is IMPOSSIBLE.

Actually I miss my whole Atari VCS collection, which I had to sell in 2004 to pay some bills.

Back in the day, I traded a friend at school my copy of Castlevania 3 for a couple RPG's that I wanted to try. He let me borrow Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior 2, and Dragon Warrior 3. Before I could beat them all, he moved away. I got a pretty good deal I suppose, but I'd really like to find a copy of Castlevania 3 someday.

Psshh! Rich kids! It's never enough, is it?

For me, there's several hard-to-find titles that I miss, but only one that I'd really like to own again and play right away:

    Snatcher.
