I am interested in this game because I absolutely loved the two on SNES, but I've read some mixed reviews on this game. I'd like to get some more opinions on the game if anyone here has played it.

Nutt's review over at GameSpy is pretty much on target. It's kind of fun in a generic way, but Lufia: Ruins of Lore isn't nearly as impressive as the SNES games were in their days.
