Default Best deal you have ever made on retro games?

    Hey All,

I'm the new guy for now, I have introduced myself in the above sticky, so hopefully me making a topic isn't frowned upon being so new. I'm just curious what was the best deal you have ever recieved on a video game or system was? Feel free to include where you make a majority of purchases at. (Ie Yard Sales, Pawn shops, Thrifts, Ebay, Game store ect.)

I myself do alot of sit down auctions, yard sales, pawn shops, thrifts.

My best deal recently was at a sit down auction there was a huge lot of boxed mint retro games. I got

    Donkey Kong Country 2
    Equinox
    Mario All Stars
    Mario Kart
    Banjoe- Tooie
    Zelda (NES)
Plus about 15 more titles, complete for $40!

I have had many good deals. I dont use ebay a ton, as most "fan boys" that I know don't.

I would love to hear your stories of the 'ultimate score' and where you picked it up.

    Mike

My best find was Bubble Bobble 2 for the NES in the box for $5.00 when I was about 10 years old. I got it from a movie rental store. Who knew it would end up being such a nice collector's piece?

This is a great place to continue this discussion.

    Forum search is your friend!

No harm no foul in making new posts though. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.
