Of course, with a lot of licensed (sports) games, the star that puts his name on the game almost never plays the game, and sometimes never even looks at the final product. So it's entirely possible Tyson never played his NES game, and was just posing for the camera.

But at the very least, going by those pics back from 1988, it's not correct to say Mike Tyson never touched an NES, anyway.

    Episode 4: Night Terror Mission

This was one of the most devastating missions I've ever had in any version of X-Com. I'm gonna go ahead and apologize now

My rookie introduction to battle was a night-time terror mission, naturally I ran away screaming almost immediately. But hey, at least I went back and picked up my gun before I got shot to death.

Wow, shame it never came out! Seems like you would have also required the overlay for sure.

Always a treat when video of super rare stuff like this pops up on the forums. Is there a pretty healthy Vectrex fandom/homebrew scene over in the UK?

Very elegant use of the overlay, for sure. Thanks for sharing. That's pretty cool.

Fandom, yes, I know many people who love the Vectrex, because it's a bit different and looks cool. We did have two quality homebrew programmers in Alex Herbert (Protector, YASI) and Alex Nicholson (Spike's Circus, Star Sling) but both have dropped out of the scene for differing reasons. Currently the most notable homebrew creators are George Pelonis, a guy called Der Luchs (Germany), and Kristoff Tuts (Vector Pilot and the upcoming Vector Patrol). Martijn Wenting (Netherlands) also made some quality titles, but has shifted over to other systems in the last few years, and may come back. Chris Tumber (Omega Chase, Vix) has recently returned to the scene and demo'ed some class WIP code allowing for 40-50 objects on screen at the same time WITHOUT flicker! We might get a Geometry Wars clone at last heh...

My collection is arguably second only to Chris Romero, so it takes some dedication and money to keep on top of things. Which is probably why in the new year I'll be thinning down other parts of my overall videogame collection so I can free some space up and have less to worry about.

Default New Sega Wayback Machine series (Youtube)

Hey guys! I'm back with another video. This new series on Sega Channel aims to showcase Sega games that were made before the Master System (this includes Arcade titles and SG-1000 games).

First up is Carnival on Colecovision (1982). I just love this game! It's so charming and I love all the sound effects. Very authentic.

As always feedback is appreciated! Thanks gentlemen and ladies.

Default Gulf War/ video game news report

Old news report from the early 90s on the Gulf War and how people growing up with video games benefits the armed forces(Don't know how credible that is but whatever). Also includes arcade and Radio Shack footage.

Wow! Maybe we'll actually see a version of Major Havoc for the Vectrex someday (the author of Havoc said the Vectrex couldn't scan fast enough to run that one).

Sounds like a challenge to me...

They make a Sega Genesis flashback too, that almost seems worth it for $20 cuz it contains over 50 good games, the usual suspects too like Golden Axe, Sonic, Streets Of Rage...
