Turbo Grafx + CD Docking Station + System 3.0 Card

Was wondering what this stuff was worth in this combination and whether you guys thought it would make more sense to try to sell it together, or split it up. Also how much is the 3.0 card going for cart only these days?

Aside from looking at eBay, I'm really not sure what it's all worth? $300? Just a random guess!

First question is have you confirmed that the CD drive is still working? Mighty finnicky in my experience.

There is no CD drive, it's just the docking bay, TG system and 3.0 card. I had someone asking to buy just the card, but I wanted to find out what the card was worth before "adjusting price for selling on a collector site." Last I heard they were going for around $100 but that was a few years ago when TG prices were sky high. I'm also completely unsure as to what a docking bay sells for by itself.

And Breetai, this is why looking on Ebay doesn't help in this instance. There's no completed or current auctions for a 3.0 card or a docking bay, or even for a full set-up.

Oh, I also missed that there wasn't a CD-ROM with it. I don't think it would be easy to find just a solo CD drive for anyone. Fortunately, a Japanese white CD drive WILL work on the US TG-16. That might be an option you could mention to a potential buyer.

I would consider selling the docking bay along with the system 3.0 card. That might be your easiest way to get rid of the bay, if that is your goal. Maybe sell it for a similar price to a system 3.0 card (whatever they go for, which very well might be in the $100 range. Maybe ask at PCEngineFX.com?).

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the input, Breetai. I think that since my PCE+CD setup has gone out again (it's the briefcase unit, I think the problem is w/ the docking system) I'm just going to take the cd unit from it and make a "complete" set-up w/ the TG stuff. Might be tough to get rid of the PCE stuff, but it's not worth as much as the TG stuff is.
