NAVA = North Atlantic Videogame Aficionados. This is a FREE event bringing gamers together for competition, trading, and chatter.
Previously at NAVA...
- Fatalities were plentiful as attendees participated in Mortal Kombat Day.
- Tournament winner Miguel had to win both the 360 version game bracket as well as the SNES (MK2) bracket to become Mortal Kombat Champion!
- The arcade challenge winner was Ben, who managed the most consecutive wins in "Mortal Kombat 2".
- Games and systems traded hands between attendees who brought their own trade boxes.

This month, we're busting out all of the multi-taps and inviting everyone to join us in PARTY MODE. Yes, PARTY MODE(tm), where we huddle closely together in our favorite four-or-five-player games and catch whiffs of one another in what is sure to be a steamy summer day in the store. Doesn't PARTY MODE(tm) sound great? You bet it will be. Bomberman 93, Mario Kart 64, and Power Stone 2 are just a few of the games that will be highlighted during the day.
Tournament! Since we're in PARTY MODE(tm) we'll need a game that not only supports 4 players but also tips its cap to our retro signature. Nothing does this better than Asteroids! So at 6pm we'll fire up the Atari 8-bit computer version of Asteroids and it's every man, woman, child, and monkey for themselves. The tournament will be FREE to join.
Arcade challenge! Who can cause the most destruction in the original arcade version of "Rampage"? The person who logs in the highest score by 8pm will get a $20 gift certificate for the Digital Press store and will be added to the new "house champion" tournament plaque on the Wall of Fame just above the arcade section of the store. Arcade challenge games are set to FREE PLAY all day. Get your practicing in now!
Get your trade boxes in order and remember to wear your NAVA t-shirt to get the maximum discount on purchases... it's NAVA time!
