My oh my how so many have read my mind. I've always wanted to see this happen, and i'll be happy to help in any way possible. I'll see what kind of donation I can come up with.

"The expenses of the government reach EVERYBODY"
-Calvin Coolidge (30th President of the U.S.A.)
As usual, John, Sean and I never agree on anything the first time around, so the wording on the press release took a little while for group approval. At this very moment it is finally grinding its way out of our mail server and will be hitting approximately 3000 media outlets by the time the week starts (or they're back from Comic Con).
If you see this press release appear on any sites, please feel free to post the links here. We like to follow up with the people who pick up our stories.
when possible I will contribute. I hope to someday share this hobby with my children and that includes the stuff I grew up with and that came before me
Here's a piece that was aired on Time Warner Cable last night in a number of markets across the US, in case you missed it (as I did)!

I'm wondering if this history museum is going to treat videogaming as a global market, or might it go the route of so many other perspectives on the history of gaming and wear blinders, resulting in a gross bias toward the US market?
Hi Brett,
Thanks for your blog. Can you change the last line to say:
"To get more information, watch their video, or to donate and become part of the movement to make this all happen, please visit the Videogame History Museum website:
Videogame History Museum"
and change the link to www.vghmuseum.org
Thanks for your help.
John
In addition to funding support, I would be happy to list information and a contribution link for VGHM at my website. I can utilize text from the site (and your OP), but do you have a small graphic/logo available for promotional use? Let me know.
Thanks.
I'm a bit late to the party, but I made my donation and linked the Kickstarter page from my site. I hope the project succeeds.
Congrats on the two-page spread article in Game Informer. Just got it in the mail and crapped when I saw the huge piece on you guys and what you're pulling together.
Cool. Just found the article posted to their website:
