Default Wario Land: Shake It! is the Third Game?

On the Japanese and European covers of the Wii platformer "Wario Land: The Shake Dimension", (a.k.a. Wario Land: Shake It!) Wario can be seen holding up three fingers. Why is this? I've wondered ever since I saw the Nintendo Power cover featuring this game. The only thing I can rationalize is that it is the third platform that Wario has been on, but that's way off target - he has had games on GB, GBA, DS, GC, and Wii by the time this was released. And it isn't the third Wario or Wario Land game. Confusion abounds!

Three fingers held up look like a "W".

In ASL that's a "W". The number three is shown by holding up the index finger, middle finger and thumb.

He also had a Virtual Boy game and appeared in 3 SNES games and 1 NES game, so it's definitely not that. The W theory makes more sense.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

Thanks everyone. I just thought it was weird as I'd never seen him make the "W" before and presumed Wario didn't know American Sign Language.
