Today I found yet another Armitron. This is the second one I've bought in a month. It was $3.99, no idea if it works yet. Near it on the shelf was the Entex Defender handheld, also $3.99. It has a speed knob on it, to make the game faster. Why is there an analog knob on a digital device like this? Odd. The TAC-50 joystick is odd, it has an Atari style plug on it but there's a red start button on the base. I'm wondering if it's made for the SMS. It was $2.92. The Clue board game is an early version, from 1963. It only cost $1.31, bought on a whim. I picked up Dark Cloud and RE4 at the same place, both are a bit scuffed but I'm hoping will work fine. The box for RE4 is in tatters, the case is torn in half. It amazes me that people can't take care of their own stuff anymore.
Depending on who you talk to, I believe that everyone has their own grade of what condition their items are in. After all, it is not like it's official or anything As for me, I described Mint as a way of saying that it's in superb shape (no damage, cover intact, no fading, etc.) and plus, it helps me keep track of the condition of my items if I need to refer to them at some point
I want <3
Here's what I got today in the mail:
Xbox 360 joystick was $30. Mousepad was $3. Pieces on the SNES was $10. Apparently this game is cheap, but somehow rare. Not in demand, I guess? It's a fun game.
I also got a Commodore 64 uIEC/SD for $50 today, not pictured.
Oh, and here's a picture of the Amiga setup I got earlier in the week:
I still need some way to display video, this monitor's power button won't stay on. I think I'm getting an S-Video adapter. Price was $25 for all of it.
Steve, if you want to sell either that Defender or the Armatron, I would be interested.

Stopped by Goodwill this morning. Found 2 loose Goldeneye carts for 2.99 each. Also picked up a Target-return XBox Live 12 month gold starter kit, the one that comes with the chatboard, a headset, a 12-month gold sub, and 400 points. I was pretty sure that the sub and the points would be gone (box had obviously been opened/seals peeled off and re-applied) and I was right. Would have been nice to find those in there, but hey, if nothing else, cheap keyboard and headset. *shrugs*
NDS Lite Charger - 1
Pac-Man Card Game (Complete) - .25
Complete GBC Games - .75
Mixed Lot of Old Games With Some Misc - 30
The NDS Lite charger was marked 2 and took 1. The Pac-Man game & GBC games were asking price. The big buy of the day was from a plastic bin of games that was brought out when I asked about older video games, some was kept and some was sold to me. After sorting it out and what not I made an offer of 20 which was countered with 30. For the Genesis game cases - top two are cases only, next two no games, Mortal Kombat II is missing the manual and the last 3 are complete.
7 Playstation Games (1 Empty Case), GBA With Shovelware Game - 4
The GBA was marked a buck. Asked about video games lady mentioned "Nintendo" as a buzzword then the guy mentioned "Sega" but it ended up being PS1 when it was brought out. Picked out what I got and offered 3 on the PS1 games. Lone top case no game, next 3 complete and the last four are sealed.
Everything I found this weekend is "minty" .............ok at least the last four Playstation games are

There's no chance of me getting rid of that Defender, it's just too cool. One of those things I always wanted as a kid but never got. The same with the Armatron, although it doesn't work. The other one I bought last month doesn't work either, but that might be due to the massive amount of battery corrosion that's damaged the terminals. I've also got another one with wheels on it bought earlier this year, and it barely works. These things just don't make it to thrift stores in good shape, sadly. But I'm going to keep them and build them into a giant multi-armed robot monster that I'll program to crush humans and occasionally fold my towels.
Who says you can't find good stuff in the wild these days? Everything is complete (other than Lost Vikings 2). And when I say complete, I mean COMPLETE. Games in plastic, all inserts, etc. The wear on anything is minimal at best. It looks like they were unwrapped and put away for 20 years. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

Goodwill score.
Atari - Concentration $1
PSP - Sims 2 Castaway $2
Intellivision - Mr Basic meets Bits 'n Bytes new sealed $2
Anybody have an idea if the Mr Basic game is worth anthing factory sealed?
That TG-16 find is awesome...what a great feeling to stumble upon something like that.
While out garage sale-ing today, I picked up a Colecovision with 20 games, the driving controller, two sports controllers, two extra standard controllers and a few random extras thrown in for $30. They were originally asking $60 but were starting to think it wasn't going to sell, so they were ready to deal when I got there.
Not really a true find but that guy I've been buying stuff from brought out a ton of floppies. I looked them over and realized they were Amiga diskettes. It was basically a bunch of copied games. He asked me why I wasn't taking them, and I told him they were for an Amiga and I don't have the setup for it.
Then he said "Amiga? I have the system somewhere. Want it?" I stared and said "NONONONONONONONO" and ran away. Well, maybe not like that, but I really can't afford to take that home. And again, all this stuff came from a storage unit. Amiga, C64, Atari XE... who was the guy that owned all of this?
CL score today... for a total of $145, i snagged 4 systems (Atari 7800, NES, SNES, N64), a bunch of accessories for said systems, and 180+ games. here we go...
i'm going forego my italics on stuff i am keeping in this one, due to sheer volume. a lot of this is for trade.
