Figure I'll start the month off.
Picking this up tonight for $20. Sans monitor, can finally start my own MAME cab.
$20? That's a steal! If it has the board, I would restore it instead of MAME-ify it.
Anyway, today's finds for me:
N64 with all cables and two controllers
1080 Snowboarding
Cruisin' USA
Doom 64
F-1 World Grand Prix
GoldenEye 007
Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside
Mission: Impossible
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98
The N64 has a stuck reset button but that shouldn't be too hard to fix. I know these are mostly sports titles and by definition are bad, but I'm just happy to be doubling my pathetic N64 collection. The consoles are everywhere but the games are a pain to find
Denmark: Home of The Little Mermaid and heavy sarcasm.
The NBA game is solid. I use to play that all the time. Very outdated now though (obviously).
I always thought the lack of end labels was weird, but Nintendo was probably sick of having radically different cartridge designs for different regions. The Famicom and Super Famicom didn't have end labels, save for some third party titles.
Goodwill pickups, $3.99 each. Scoured for the boxes/manuals to no avail.
Picked up Star Wars Battlefront for PC today for $1.61 at Goodwill.
I've been having a lot of computer issues, but I managed to sort everything out this morning. So, pictures:
From yesterday:
The Redlands Zanja 8 - Who's Counting?
The Best of Comic Relief '90
Giorgio Moroder - Cat People OST
$1 each
Rodney's Wonder Window, Comic Book Confidential (PC/Mac, both new) - $2 each.
I picked up that Rodney game because the name sounded familiar. It turns out it was designed by Rodney Alan Greenblat, the character designer for the Parappa series of games (among others.) Then I went back later and found that other thing buried under some clothes.
From today:
Jackie Wilson - The Jackie Wilson Story
The Butterfield Blues Band - The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw
Tears For Fears - Elemental
$1 each.
Just got back from a little vacation. While I was gone, I had the chance to do a bit of game hunting. I think I made out pretty well.
The Recca is by far the coolest thing I bought and was the most expensive by a good margin. But it's a mint copy that is absolutely complete and makes a great memento of my trip. I was also able to fill in a lot of holes in my shmup and light gun collections along with some other unusual stuff.

Well, got some Tg-16 stuff, have a topic already about that a few posts below. I also got Left for Dead 2 for 360 and some PC upgrades.
Nothing special yet.
Oh wait a minute, got a copy of Duck Tales 2 for NES for 4.99
