holy shit great find on the IQ.
You're on fire lately.
September has been really good to me! Xbox 1 with 4 controllers (2 wireless Mad Catz, 2 dukes) and the advanced AV pack for $100 from my local CL.
Launch team setup with both of the original translucent green duke controllers. Works like a champ and other than a little dust, looks like new.
Supposedly one of only 60 made but never sold to the public, only to members of the Xbox team. Last one sold on ebay for $499.

A pretty hard to find n64 game... its NEW. Sealed. $15.
After finding a loose Sculptor's Cut as well for n64 this month... pretty happy finding rare titles. Think I am up to about 50-55 N64 games. about 35 CIB.
It was pure chance that I even looked at the ad. It wasn't listed as anything other than a Green Original Xbox, so I was wondering why anybody would list it for $100 when all of the other ads out there were much cheaper. I guess I just got lucky on it.
There is another one on eBay right now. I think it's a hair over $200 with a couple days left to go.

Picked up a NES dogbone controller at Goodwill for 99 cents! Take that, 98PaceCar and your Xbox find! I've never actually seen or held one of these in person...it definitely has a nice feel to it.
The controller was plugged into an NES Satellite, but that was $10 so I passed on it. BTW, and I know that this has been discussed before, but wtf is with Goodwill's prices? They had a brand-new HDMI cord that was I believe 10'...just what I was looking for so I can easily plug my PC into my TV without having to move it. They wanted $34 for it...more than likely the same price that it was at the Target that they got it from! Actually I'm sure the clearance price at Target was far cheaper. I mean.... what the hell?

!! My wife would have been much happier with me buying a controller for a buck than a $100 XBox, but she did perk up when I showed her the going rate for the thing. Hopefully I don't come home and find her selling it!!
I picked up a few TG16 games, nothing really special, but some solid titles.
Kick Boxing - Complete (minus outer box)
Chase HQ - manual, no box
Ballistix - manual, no box
Hit the Ice - manual, no box
Bomberman 93 - manual, no box
Right at $50 for all of them.

Windows XP Operating System Training Kit $2.50
The Batman: The Complete Fourth Season $4
Microsoft Office: Student and Teacher Edition 2003 $3
Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends(Ds) $3
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of The Minis(Ds) $3
Pokemon: Diamond Version(Ds) $3
All of these were Goodwill finds. The XP training kit is essentially a big ass training manual for people studying for tech support roles for Windows XP. Saying it is thick would be an understatement. This thing would make a brick run in fear and would probably give a cinder block a run for it's money. But it was cheap and includes software in the back of the book so I figured I'd give it a shot. Speaking of software, I also picked up another copy of Microsoft Office. It's funny that a mere three months ago I had never sold any Pc software and knew nothing about it. All I knew is that certain members were adding it to their finds and talking about how much it was going for. And now, three months later, I still really don't know anything about it but I know it does sell for much more than I buy it for. Now I have to find out some more about these calculators that some members have been raving about.
I found all three Ds games at one location but I initially left Cooking Mama 2 there until I went home to check online to see what it was selling for. After my checks I went back to pick it up too. And apparently none of these were Target returns, they were just three games that someone decided they no longer wanted.
Lost Planet 2 strategy guide 1 cent
Tekken 4(PS2) $3
Tekken 4 Japanese import(PS2) $3
LA Noire(360)
Crysis 2(360)
Two Worlds(360)
I normally don't find import games at Goodwill but this one had both the import and domestic version of Tekken 4. And since I never got Tekken 4(despite owning every version since 2) this was another nice find. I looked to see if they had any PS2's, hoping one would be a Japanese one but there was none to be found. I just got back a few hours ago from picking up the three 360 games. They were a $30 craigs list find, essentially $10 each and they are basically in new condition. The guy said he took very good care of his games and he wasn't lying. I'm keeping Crysis 2 but LA Noire and Two Worlds are for trade if anyone has a copy of Killzone 3 or a 360 copy of FEAR 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Dead Island that they want to trade for.

cool. I've got a DC keyboard but don't have this ToTD. Great find.
Went to a swap meet today. Mostly overpriced junk and bootlegged GBA games but I did end up finding the following at somewhat decent prices:
Ben 10: Protector Earth (DS) Box and cart serials don't match though
Gargoyle's Quest (GB)
Monster Max (GB) CIB - Even still has the Titus poster
Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing (GB) CIB
VIP (GBC) Sealed

Girlfriend wanted to go to a Michael's crafts store. Luckily, there's a Salvation Army next door.
There was a 30% off sale, so they ended up being $4.20 each. And if there's anyone near Torrance who would like a sealed 5200 Berzerk that's crushed on the bottom, that was there too.
Picked up a factory sealed Arc Rise Fantasia for Wii for only $13.09 at Micro Center.
I saw an Icewind Dale combo pack at Half Price Books that had the original game plus the Heart of Winter expansion for $5. I almost picked it up but passed because it was just the jewel case and discs, no manuals or outer cardboard box. I may bite the bullet and go back to pick it up. They also had a Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for the same price but I also passed on that.

Well, I got a Nomad today. I assumed you'd be right; I'd just look at it. But... I smoke outside. Now I play Genesis when I smoke instead of GBA. So I've used it a bit already. Sitting next to the back door now. We'll see how it goes when the 'new car smell' wears off.
