After waiting almost a month, my Castlevania hoodie came from RIPT...

It's a hair tight but should relax out, forgot how small American Apparel crap runs. RIPT has a great printer they use but the stock they print on isn't my preferred quality for shirts and whatnot.

A quick jaunt to the thrift store yielded this:

Guardian War is Sealed, as is Speedball. The PS1 games w the silver price tag were .99, so I got them both. Zombies was $3. The rest were proced as marked.

Today, the elusive "clean cover" variant (on the right) of Speed Devils officially became a member of my collection.

Picked up two things so far:

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter $34.99 (New) - Xseed Games went the extra mile again, and released a lovely 1st print package. I've already ripped the music cd, and I'm listening to it as I type this!

Goof Troop for SNES $4.99 (Used, Cart Only) - I've been looking for this game for a while, and finally got lucky at Value Village.

Where did you snag that, and sells it to me.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Ebay, for a whopping $1.76 ($4.75 shipped). I happened upon it just 10 hours before auction end. Oh, the things that slip through the cracks these days.

If I come across another one you'd certainly be the first person I contact about it. But, as for the fate of this one, it will have to remain in my set for now. It's been a long time since something like this has fallen in my lap.

Works for me! A few have shown up on these forums of late. I check the Speed Devils stuff that shows up, and dig though lots (great way to find Sonic LE's by the way) on occasion. I guess I really need to do that more than I have been.

z0mg I finally found stuff. Actually I picked up a bunch of House of Miniatures model kits for $12 but it's not worth showing them. Today, though...

Fall just got here. It was 105 on Sunday. On Monday we had a surprise storm which caused the usual flooding, knocked down some billboards onto cars, blew the roof off some buildings, and brought the temperatures to low to mid 80s.

Kill Chiba Collection (The Bullet Train, The Executioner, Golgo 13: Kowloon Assignment) Too bad they're dubbed, but eh.
Office: Mac 2004 Student Teacher Edition
Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakwel (new)
Total: $5. Forgive me, for I have sinned and bought something beyond my level of "crap music"... I couldn't resist.

And I resisted buying the Bratz soundtrack later that morning. Then again, it had a hole through the UPC, which is a big no-no for me. Aheh. Um.

Streets of Rage CIB (some box damage)
    Ryuichi Sakamoto: Sweet Revenge
The Jimmy Bruno Group: Midnight Blue
The Trip (motion picture score to a Roger Corman flick)
    Limpopo: Give Us A Break
    $5 total.

    Microsoft Home and Student 2007 - $5
Curtis Salgado / Terry Robb: Hit It 'n Quit It! (new) $1
    Charles Wilson - Why? (new) - $1

... So the stupid find of the day was that Charles Wilson album. With song titles like "Part Time Lover, Full Time Fool", "Home Wrecker" and "Ain't Nothing Wrong With Cheating"... how could I not want this?

Nearly crapped myself when I walked into the pawn shop as I haven't found jack there in months...

Paid 2 bucks per game. Blaster Master, Mega Man 2, 3, 4 and 6, SMB3, GI Joe Atlantis Factor, and 3 wisdom tree black carts King of Kings, Exodus, and Bible Adventures. I've never seen the wisdom tree games in the wild before. Pretty cool to find them.

All my local pawn shops would have charged $15 to $20....per game.

We have a couple local "dealers" who are so overpriced it's actually hilarious because all they do is complain they can't sell anything. No they never do seem to draw a line between those two things. Hell if the one was clean organized and intelligent he'd have one of the best stocked vintage gaming stores anywhere. But it's all gross disorganized mess that you don't want to touch without gloves on and he's about as sharp as a mallet. Our pawn shops did go high priced for a while (about a year) but realized shit wasn't selling at those prices so everythings gone back to "normal" now.

Solatorobo - $35 from EB Games

Finally got my hands on a copy! After some trouble with the store I ordered from online, I was able to get the last copy from a local EB. They got in three copies, and two were preorders. Interestingly the outer box was sealed - I saw some Americans complain their Gamestop copies weren't.

Mine charge $10 each, $15 for Mario games. Also charges $35 for the original Gameboy. Actually works out because I take him all of the common/worthless games I find. I've received two solid guns and good money out of trades involving shit games. The funny thing; he finds a way to sell these things.

Funny. The local flea market does that too. Anything with Mario on it, all the Mexicans try to push fpor $20+, even a cart only copy of Mario Paint. I bought a copy of Legend of Dragoon there from the same guy for $5, missing the manual, and it sold on eBay for $25. Lulz was had.

I'm not sure if they realize Mario is Italian and not Mexican.
