In 1989, I broke my computer desk by slamming my fist on top of it so many times because of Ninja Gaiden. Definitely the most anger-inducing video game of all time (and equally fun too).

    I beat Ninja Gaiden....

......on an emulator with save states.

Seriously, though, this is a good week. And NES Pac-man ain't all that bad. If you need a fix on your Wii, this isn't a bad way to get it. I'm upset because I'm in the midst of moving and my wii is in a box. Oh well, there'll be some good stuff waiting when I get all moved in.

I beat the NES version for real back in the day. I'm not sure I could do it again though. I played through the SNES version a few years ago and beat it again, although it probably had more to do with unlimited continues than video game skills.

The game's so easy once you know the monster positions. Half of them you can make walk into oblivion and disappear. Ducking under birds is key and jump slash is your friend. The first two bosses you can rape too if you hold on to the spin slash ninjitsu. I almost beat it without dying except for freaking level 6-2. If I get the spin slash which is right outside the door it screws me over because I need to use it on the part right after with the rocket man ninja star flying guys...I think my next play though I will be bypassing the one outside...

Wow. Very good stuff this week. I may have to dip into the coffers for Blazing Lazers...

I just found out that for the tg-16 that next weeks Monday tg-16 vc game will not be World Sports Competition. It was been pushed back 2 weeks. The game replacing World Sports Competition on Monday is J.J. & Jeff.

Hudson also announced their Schedule for vc game in June in this order:

    Dead Moon
    World Sports Competition
    Bloody Wolf
    China Warrior
    This is according to: http://vc-pce.com/usa/e/index.html

Figures they'd put out Act Raiser when I've sworn off the Wii until they release either Metroid on the VC.

And JJ & Jeff sucks. The Japanese version of the game was so much better. But it'd probably get an 'M' rating.
