I used to love Actraiser. I really enjoyed the village building portions.
The action sequences were fine, but I really loved building the villages, watching them evolve, etc...

For Monday, The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link has been announced by Nintendo.

Sorry, no Metroid yet have been announced unless Metroid is 1 of the other 3 vc games. There should be 3 more virtual game console games on Monday that haven't been announced since there is 96 vc games and The Legend of Legend of Zelda 2 is the 100th vc game according to Nintendo with the game being released on Monday.
One of the other 3 games should be Dead Moon on Monday.

I'm very, very, very close to losing all faith in Nintendo.
I'm also seriously considering selling my Wii.
Still no Metroid. It should've been out months ago. If it's not out by the end of June, I'm forever done with Nintendo. Not to mention Nintendo hasn't really justified my $250 purchase with their shit selection of games, out thus far.

I like Dead Moon
If you are like Darius style game playing shoot them up give it a try. Dead Moon display awesome paralax scrolling for its time of Turbo Grafx 16.
Many recent VC games have gotten me interested in purchasing a wii, but I'm still not sure...and mmmmmmm, Paper Mario.
I am teh winnar of the internet.
Just wait, neo geo is on the block here in a while
I am waiting for Parasol Stars, Yo Bro, Cadash, Legenadry Axe II to name a few. Pasarsol Stars is a good one, the rest are my childhood favs. Waiting...
I have two basic food groups, fast and frozen.
Don't you already own super metroid? If so, why the fuck would you want it on the wii? If not, why the hell are you whining about a game you've not played?
And why would super metroid come out before metroid 1, anyway? And in either case, wouldn't it make more sense to release a metroid game on VC closer to the launch of Metroid Prime 3?
Let's get real here. If you're thinking of selling a console because they have not yet put up a Super Nintendo game for download on it...that's just ridiculous.
Check out the Kleppings!
Make Way For Madness!

Infinite Lives
Why not just play it via gamecube in your wii? It's an unlockable in Metroid Prime. Also, it can be played on gameboy player (or GBA) with a copy of either Metroid: Zero Mission or the classic Metroid cart. I prefer Zero Mission in any event.
I'm relatively pleased at the offerings of the VC so far. My only real changes would be to allow for import games and make the games cheaper.
I did download Shockman. I like it, a little something for everyone in it.

I expect that Sega will be releasing a Sega Genesis Collection II soon which will likely include the Shining games (I, II, Darkness), Landstalker, Streets of Rage series, and various other gems left out of the first collection.
This is of course assuming they hold off by just releasing these titles via XBLA and the VC.
And while I've taken the bait on a few of these games at $5, $6, $8, and $10 a pop, it's amazing that you could get 28 Genesis games for $19.99.
Nintendo should REALLY look at a subscription based model...
I'm still waiting til someone releases a modchip that enables you to purchase games from other regions, or at least a goddamn 60Hz option in all the PAL VC releases (the exception being the TG16 stuff).
As a PAL gamer I'm kind of fed up with the situation right now, I'm not going to pay for slow/ bordered 50Hz games.
And though things like Blazing Lasers and Military Madness are awsome and worth every penny, we won't ever see gems like Final Match Tennis or Sin & Punishment over here.
I'm also hoping that someday someone will hack the emulators to enable the use of the Wiimote for SNES games, I mean, games like Super Bomberman only need 4-5 buttons at most, which could be easily mapped onto the Wiimote (A, B, 1, 2, +), so why not?
Or more importantly, how about Mario Kart 64 and other N64 games? Why no Wiimote + Nunchuk support?
I won't buy four classic controllers (those things aren't even wireless), but I'll definately buy four Wiimotes and Nunchuks.
Imho the emulators need a serious overhaul, regarding configurability, but that won't happen, until someone manages to crack them.
Atm Nintendo seems to make more money out of controllers than everything else.. just ridiculous.

I'm down with that, but I already have Shining Force I for GBA. Shining Force II would be grand.I'd like to take the moment to ask very very nicely for Shining Force I and/or II on VC, please!
Something like XBLA? If Nintendo would do something like that, they should somehow get the 1989 TMNT arcade game on there.Nintendo should REALLY look at a subscription based model...
