"You've been turned into a TOTALLY DISGUSTING CREATURE!" The SMS's color palette is really pretty comparable to the PC Engine's, so there's really no reason to kick yourself for not getting Dragon's Curse. I was kind of disappointed when I dl'ed it.
Actually I am like Dragon's Curse over Wonder Boy III. I have soft spot for the music of the Turbo Grafx 16. Also I feel the control is better on the Turbo Grafx over the SMS. But I am play both these games on original hardware with original equipment for what it worth. The SMS is a quality game but I am feel the Turbo Grafx 16 Dragon Curse is step up over Wonder Boy III.

The SMS is have better cover art however than the Turbo Grafx 16 cover art. I think Turbo Grafx art work is loose everytime.

As a self-avowed Wonder Boy III/Dragon's Curse fanboy, I really can't tell a large difference between the two. I have to agree, though, that the art suffers a mite on the TG-16. And although the music sounds better on the TG-16, I prefer the SMS version (although, if we're talking about the FM music of the SMS version, that easily blows the TG-16's out of the water). As for control, I have trouble with shooting items prematurely with the SMS's mushy pad (doesn't that sound lovely), but playing with a Genesis pad can fix that.

I've never seen the TG-16 cover art, but there's no way it can be worse than the SMS cover art. Trust me. :P

There better be a n64 game released on the vc by the end of July. This week is not great in vc games overall including nes golf. All I have to say about next week is there better 2 decent or great games next week with China Warrior being released on next monday.

I knew the VC was due for an extremely dull week sooner or later. Still beats that week where the only releases were NES Baseball and Urban Champion, though.

Out of all the TG-16 releases...which ones are the best? I want to get at least 3-4 TG-16 games, but would like to know what most people think are the best. Anyone care to give me a top 3 list?

Blazing Lazers, and a Bonk game are necessities.

I'd also include Military Madness, one of the best turnbased strategy titles for consoles. The first release was a little buggy, but they fixed it by now.

Blazing Lasers is a must, I'd agree and don't forget Soldier Blade.. the best looking TG16 shmup.

    Today's Line up:
    China Warrior - tg-16
Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting-snes
    F-Zero X-N64

Stay away from China Warrior. It is considered one of the 5 worst games on the tg-16.

It is about time a n64 games was released.

    Believe this here!^^

China Warrior is NOT worth $6 for the download. Matter of facts it is not worth $6 for a complete in box official hu card

one of the 5 worst? It is the 1 worst.

if any one has one for sale I will pay $6.00USD shipped for China Warrior - must have at least case and maunal ^_~

Hudson has announced 5 games for the tg-16 for July. http://vc-pce.com/usa/e/index.html is the source. That site is owned and maintained by Hudson themselves.

    They are in this order:
    Dragon Spirit
    Air Zonk
    Silent Debuggers
    Devil's Crush
    Drop Off

Dragon Spirit is a good shooter that I own. It is an arcade port of the games. It is a hard game at some parts of the game.

I heard that Air Zonk is a very good Shooter that has Bonk as a Cyborg.

Silent Debuggers is an early fps game based on what I read.

Devil's Crush is one best video game pinball game out there and I own it. It is a must have anyone who like pinball games.

I don't know much about the last game for July except for the fact is a puzzle game based on what I read about it.

I really loved Drop Off. Can't wait for that one to enter the VC. Seeing these great old (almost forgotten) TG16 titles live again makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

    Today's line-up:

    Super Mario Bros. 2-nes
    Ecco: The Tides of Time-genesis
    Dragon Spirit-tg-16

It is a good overall line-up of games.

I had to buy Super Mario Bros. 2 for the wife.

She loves it (I hate it).

    She's playing it now

Oddly enough, I had to put the generation NEX together over the weekend to acheive the same end. Girlfriend seemed to enjoy it. I think she beat it. I'm now wild about the game either, cOldb33r, so your'e not alone.
