Games are common, not much demand for any GG games except for the really rare stuff. $25-$30 for the lot.
Selling collection, Atari through XBox. Send a PM with whatever games you're looking for.

It does kinda depend on the condition of the system and your feedback on Ebay. A G Gear is notorious for having capacitor issues, but still work well enough to get sold by a non-gamer as fully-functional. I got $35 for a fully functional blue console only recently, but I sell a lot of consoles. Most only get $20ish.

Really? $20-35 for the whole lot, including cloth case? My ebay feedback is impecable.
The condition of everything is in very good shape.

Can the TV tuner be used with a converter box?

Great feedback's important, but specialization in selling video games is what will get you the bigger money. Is the sound loud? Does it come out of the speaker? Can you look at the screen straight-on, or do you have to tilt it? Do the colors bleed at all? All of these things are signs of bad capacitors, besides the speaker. The cloth case is worth MAYBE $15, if it's official. If it's 3rd party, worthless.

I'm interested in hearing more about these so-called "capacitor issues," and more specifically how difficult it would be to fix them.

Everytime I find Game Gears in the wild they usually have some kind of sound issues(many won't play sound at all) so as Sunnyvale420 said: condition is key. Beyond that, I don't think Game Gears have been very much in demand anytime over the last 10 years or so. They are pretty easy to find and if they are priced more that $35 they usually end up sitting there forever, atleast in my area. Sometimes they can't even move at $20 each.

No, there's no input with the tuner so you can't attach a converter box. It's useless now. Even before we lost the analog signals the TV tuner wasn't worth that much anymore, I still saw people having trouble selling bundles with a tuner included.

The blue Game Gear isn't really worth that much more than a regular system, I had one of those though I was missing one of the battery covers. I'm still glad I sold off all my Game Gear stuff in one bundle, I won't even think about buying anything again unless it's one of the really valuable games or everything is really dirt cheap.

I kind of am, if I can scare up the cash. I'll be posting some games for sale soon and hopefully that'll give me the funds for this.
