I Need a life....Wait! I DO HAVE ONE! CLASSIC GAMES ARE!
they seem to go for more like 70ish + shipping online. That's decent if you want it for yourself, but nothingto get crazy about or try to re-sell in my opinion. I've got one for sale on CL w/ smb123 for 100 that hasn't gotten much interest. I'll probably leave it up till closer to xmas and see how it goes.
Make sure it has the dogbone controllers with it. Those are almost impossible to find loose.

It took me much longer than it should have to sell my Nes toploader with 5 games. I had it listed on here, ebay and craigs list and it wasn't selling. I finally sold it on craigs list for $75 but I really didn't expect it to take 4-6 months to sell for the going rate. Like others have already said, $50 is a nice price if you are getting it for yourself but if you plan to sell it don't expect to make much more than that.

If its in good shape and you want it for your collection, $75 is OK.
I was looking to sell mine.
I scored a Top Loader on eBay for $57.66 plus $14.20 for shipping. It included 4 dogbone controllers, a NES Four Score, an orange zapper, and a Quik Shot joystick. While this is far from a $5 miracle garage sale story, I was pleased. I think I got the bundle for the price that I did because the seller listed the Top Loader as the NES-101 White Console.
I second this, but not a deal breaker. I've got two toploader nes's and love them. Even with no a/v out. I got an rf to rca plug from radio shack, hooked to an rf a/b switch box. TV out hooked to tv, and inputs one is cable in and other the rf/rca plug that I plug the deck into and picture looks fine to me. Everything is shielded so no rf interference or wiggly line problem! I'd say go for it.
I'm pretty sure dogbone controllers can be sold for $10 each. If you're lucky to find spares cheap enough to resell.

Hhahahaha.. me too..I was actually coming to this site to get an idea on value..
I have a top loader sitting in a box to my left to put on ebay..,,1 dogbone, zapper hook ups and SMB3 game..I plan to add Super Mario Bros Duck Hunt combo cart and Super Mario Bros 2 games that I have..
Just selling systems on ebay to me has been lack luster,it just takes to much time and too long for them to sell..
I'm Sitting on a stack of NES decks that I just could care less to set up and list..
I find listing games easier..
Great thread thank you..

We've got no idea how many dogbone controllers are out there.

When I sold my Nes Toploader earlier this year I kept my dogbone controller to sell seperately. But I still have it. Just never got around to listing it.
