Modding Master Chief helmet, need battery help

I'm modding the Master Chief helmet that came with the legendary edition of Halo 3. I'm adding LEDs to the sides which should act as flashlights.

Anyway, I didn't account for the additional voltage needed for blue LEDs. I have a 9v wired with a switch, but need three more volts in the series to make these lights, you know, visible.

I have the holder and the battery, but the switch part of it is throwing me off when looking at tutorials on how to wire these in a series. Where does the 3V go? What do I solder it to?
