Default Model 1 Sega CD No Power

My uncle picked this up for me the other day in a box of assorted game items and I had a chance to test it today. No power, no lights, no response, nothing.

I'm familiar with repairing the Model 2's but this is the first Model 1 I've seen (besides the one in my collection) in a long time.

Am I looking at a similar fuse repair as a Model 2 or is it something different? I think I still have some fuses from the newer ones I repaired but I'd like to know for certain before I start soldering.

Yeah, the fuses on Model 1's blow out all the time too, I think it's normally because someone tries to use an NES adapter with it.
    Here's some extra info from Sega16 http://www.sega-16.com/forum/archive...p/t-16724.html
