Default Gamecube controller that looks like PS2 Dualshock?

Does anyone know of a third party controller for the cube that's shaped more like a PS2 Dualshock? I love my Gamecube, but the controllers piss me off.

There are umpteen adapters that let you connect a DS2 (or DS1) directly.

I've never seen one, but I remember seeing controllers years ago that used the same Sony style layout for both PS2 and XBOX controllers, so it's possible they made a GC one as well. Can't remember the brand, unfortunately.

My solution is to use an adapter to connect a real DualShock (NOT DualShock 2, since the analog buttons make 'clicking' the shoulder buttons too difficult).

Looks like there's even dual adapters for Dual Shock AND the Wii Classic controller/Wii Classic Controller Pro.

Though, if you're using it for the Wii Classic controller, I would assume you'd need a Gamecube cord extension cable to make the most of those.

I may have another ps2 controller adapter (works with wheels too) that I might let go. Otherwise there are plenty around. I used to buy/sell the usb/xbox/gc(wii technically also, I guess) that used to be on play-asia.com Those are the best I have used IMO.
Now it is the beginning of

That layout is different than what you get with an adapter.
I can't imagine playing something like Twilight Princess with that thing.

Ah, but the beauty of this controller is that all the buttons can be remapped. You can configure the button layout anyway you please.

    Read the product description..

    Product Description

Thrustmaster 2.4Ghz T-Wireless NW Gamepad for Ninetendo Wii. The first wireless, programmable and vibrating gamepad for Virtual Console, Gamecube & Wii* games on Wii. * 2.4 GHz wireless gamepad for Wii. Connects to the Wii's Gamecube port.

It is a gamecube controller. I have one and use it for the few fighters that are on the gamecube.
