I got a Lynx last week but I just now but batteries in it and its not turning on. It looks like the power button is jammed in. Is there a way to fix this?

You'll probably need to open it up. Depending on if it's a Lynx I or a Lynx II, the fix may well be different. I've never opened up any of mine, so I'm not sure what - if any - internal differences there are. You should probably have posted this is the "Technical and Restoration Society" sub-forum; I'm sure you can get some answers there. If not, I'd head over to Atari Age and ask there. Good luck.

Just registered over there, thanks. I do not see ONE screw on the system.
The power button is supposed to be like that(so you don't accidentally turn it off while playing I think). Did you test it with a game in it? Because without a game it won't even power on or do anything for that matter.
And I believe the screws are under the rubber feet that just pull out. I wouldn't just go taking it apart though. They can be a bit tricky if your not sure what you are doing.

THIS. Make sure there's a game inserted.
I bought myself a second Lynx II last year because I stupidly took my original launch unit Lynx II out of storage and tested it without a cart in it.
I had forgotten that it needs a cartridge inserted to power up!
Turns out that both work fine and, I do have a comlynx cable so now I can play multiplayer games.
