    Yes you need a japanese 21pin RGB cable for the XRGB. It's a different pinout from SCART even though it looks identical externally. Like this:

    So if that auction is legit (seller knows what he's talking about), then it should work.

    Thanks! I'm assuming the Framemeister uses the same connectors as the XRGB3? (never owned one of those)

    On the unit itself, the Framemeister has a mini-din and d-terminal. Those 2 are used for analog RGB.

    However the Frameister comes with a Japanese 21pin RGB (looks like Euro SCART) to mini-din adapter.
