Thanks for the link! That was quite an interesting experiment.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect, and it was certainly less musical than I would have liked, but some of the tracks are really cool. The track "Ghoul Sounds" was really awesome and genuinely creepy and atmospheric.
I wish they would have listed what games they used for each track, because bits and pieces sounded familiar. Overall the project came off as not much more then distorted bleeps and bloops, but as I stated earlier, if they were to have more musically coherent tracks like "Ghoul Sounds" they could really be on to something. I love the Genesis sound chip and I could listen to a whole album of similar tracks.
The track "Expolding Mummy Organs" is pretty cool too with a Metroid vibe in the last half of the track. And lets be honest, how could anyone not like something called "Expolding Mummy Organs"?
If a god is willing to prevent evil, but not able, then he is not omnipotent. If he is able, but not willing, then he must be malevolent. If he is both willing and able, then why is there evil? If he is neither able or willing then why call him a god?
Man that was horrible! Nice idea, but it was executed rather poorly.
I was hoping for something a little more musical, although it gives me some inspiration for samples to use on a visual pinball table on which I am working.

I remember my friend trying this out a year or so ago. He was pulling games out for about 40 minutes and never got any cool notes to hang, just a couple momentary bloops or squeels.

Kinda what I thought this thread was going to be about.
Most bizarre thing I did w/ mine was take it to Goodwill today.
But kept the controllers for my atari 2600. The kids prefer 'em.
