Look, we're not going to sit here and pretend the Pro Skater series wasn't as much of a staple of our adolescence as everyone else's. We loved poppin' sweet kicks in 1999 and we expect to love it just as much 13 years later with Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD; especially after looking at these spot-on reproductions of the Warehouse and School 2.

Besides the Warehouse and School 2, the Mall, Phoenix, Hangar, Marseilles and Venice have also been confirmed for the remake. But honestly, we'd rather Robomodo focus on getting this soundtrack situation sorted out before they move on to paltry trivialities like "levels" or "characters" or "physics" or "skateboards."Gallery: Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD (1/20/12)

The first two Tony Hawk games were the best ones in the series. I'll be getting this the first day it's released.

Yeah, I had the first one on the Dreamcast and loved it. The series got too out there for my tastes, but I think I'll check this one out!

THPS 2 is not only one of the Top 3 sports games ever, it is probably one of the Top 10 games ever. Now they just need to get the soundtrack fully licensed. The music is the only thing keeping me from buying Crazy Taxi.

I find this rather ironic.... one of the main complaints about the THPS series is that it's too much rehash, and now here's a title that embraces the rehash completely? Well, maybe that's what it takes to make it relevant again... I had a ton of fun with series (up until American Wasteland at least), so I'm interested.
