Does anyone actually sell replacement cases, or is cannibalizing another game seriously the only way to do this?

I usually consult the Gamedude price guide and check the ones that are $3 and under and cannibalize them.

wow guess im looking good then as i have about 100+ stashed away thought about selling some but wondered what the shipping and mostly how to pack the damm things and not worry
about them getting crushed in the mail.
So, any of you guys with a stockpile willing to part with some of it?
I only need two--one for Silpheed and one for Nights Into Dreams. In both cases its just a broken front hinge needs replacing.
I'm gonna start getting cheap CIBs off eBay and locally as well, just for days like this. Think I'll invest in a CD Binder as well.
What I've been doing for years is snatching up dirt cheap sports games on Saturn or CD and just using the cases. There is a local store here that has a trove of factory sealed Sega CD sports games. Not sure where they got them from but, I usually pick them up for 2 bucks a pop just to use the cases.
Currently attempting to complete my Genesis collection! Always looking for hard to find complete games! Send me a PM

Yeah, cannibalizing other cases is really the cheapest method right now sadly. I looked into what it would cost to get new molds made for the cases in order to manufacture a new batch, but the costs were way too much for the perceived market here and on other forums.
There's a place near me with cheapo Saturn games for about $5, but it's still hit or miss on some of the cases as well
Guess I better start cannibalizing. My main problem with that method is I'm afraid I'll break cases as I'm trying to cannibalize them, or else that I'll actually like the games and thus, want to keep them complete.
But, I guess you can't make an omelette...
I know a place that sells their lowest end Saturn sports titles for $1. I buy them every time I go in there and the cases are good.
I try to harvest any and all cases I can. All of my Saturn and Sega CD cases are pristine, and I probably have 30-40 backups which are also pristine. I'm not sure what I'll do with the remaining cases since I really don't need 'em right now, but you never know.
