I normally use a Sega 1602 and 1603 pair rather than unwrap my Turbografx 16 cables.

The other items were found at a Goodwill and cost me $4
- Links Championship Course: Pebble Beach
- TMNT Leo Turtle Rock figure
- Some kind of robot Tails...there is a button on his back that shoots a light up through his hand, which I'm sure he's supposed to be holding something there.
- and a Dr. Doofenshmirtz figure; one of my favorite cartoon villians and my soon to be 3 year old loves him.
The box the figures are on is Links 386 Pro...which sadly is just an empty box, the Pebble Beach game was crammed inside of it. My Dad was a Links-a-holic growing up, I'd love to have that game in it's entirety for that nostalgia.
AND just to catch up, a few days before this I got a pretty good deal on some M:tG cards.
200 cards for $15, 9 rares, 22 uncommons, noteables include:
Sun Titan, Gideon Jura, Dragonskull Summit, and ay of Judgement
Went to goodwill with my newly gotten Birthday coupon... and found myself a Kinect. It said it was a Target closeout but it had everything including the pack in game complete. It was 59.99 but with my discounts I skated out with it cheaper. It works great, now I have no freaking use for it. No space anywhere.
Xbox 360 Kinect (complete) - 44$
My local thrift did me pretty well today.

The HDMI DVD player was $3 because they couldn't get a picture to show up on their TV. It probably works; they just have old TV's. The loose Xbox controller was $2. The Xbox games were $2 apiece and marked "scratched" but I can fix them.
Now, when I walked to the counter to pay for my DVD player and controller, I spotted a basket with that lovely Boxed Game Boy in the floor behind the register. I asked if they were going to sell it, she said yes, and I asked to look at it. I also asked if anything else was in the box and she said yes. Offered her $20 for the Boxed Game Boy, which she happily accepted. Offered her $10 for the remaining items in the crate (everything else you see) and she was fine with that too. I think the Game Gear will work once I clean out the corrosion; batteries expired in 2002. She was just happy that I saved her the trouble of pricing everything and I always treat them well. Win/win for everyone.
Anyone help me with the Game Boy value? I may keep it for myself but it's boxed as shown, has the cardboard insert, manuals, sealed headphones, link cable, and Game Boy. No cellophane and there's a place in the insert for a small piece (clueless as to what it is) and it's missing.
Does it have Tetris? If not, that's what you're missing. I'm a bit surprised it's a cardboard insert, I thought they were styrofoam for those boxes. As for value, about $40 to $50.

I don't usually post my finds but I found a Wico bat handle joystick for the Atari 2600 today for $0.99. I'm just hoping it works.
Yea, I just noticed the "Tetris" text on the box. There were no GB games in the crate so that's the missing part.
I'm going to go back tomorrow if I get a chance to see if there was anything else that may have been placed in other boxes. They had a complete mess behind the counter today and I wasn't going to annoy them with a bunch of requests.
Here's a picture of the internals:
There's no Tetris manual either yet the other manuals and books are there (under the GB). Kind of odd because like you, I'm used to seeing them in Styrofoam.

That's the only one I found with the card board. He claims his was opened in 1989 yet this one that I have has a $65 price tag on it. That doesn't seem right for 1989. However, it has a 089 on the sticker too. Maybe it was a launch system?

I have no idea when that came out with the cardboard box as I've never seen one before(at least I don't remember seeing one), but it's priced cheaper than launch prices for some reason. Maybe old stock if it's a launch unit or maybe a later release? It seems to be worth more than I thought though, I didn't see that auction when I searched around for pricing. Good find.

My local Best Buy restocked with Skylanders, and for once I found the three packs. I passed on the three pack with Stealth Elf because I decided I would rather have an adventure pack over three new characters. So I got the Darklight Crypt set for $21. Now I just need to get through the Mass Effect Trilogy so that I can start Skylanders.

Tried to find it, but the new search engine doesn't want to let the info go it seems. But who was it who found an Armitron a year or so back?

I want to buy it if you haven't allready sold it.
My local auction house pretty much sucked tonight. Was one gaming item for a change; an old style PS1 with cables and a controller that went for $5.
Did, however, pick up the following goodies:
Boxed Sony M-11EV Microcassette Recorder - $2 with a box of VHS tapes
Sony Sports FM/AM Walkman - $2
Samsung DVD-1000 VHS/DVD combo & a Sony DVP-NS300 DVD player - $7
Yea, that's it. Lots of decent items went for way too much tonight as everyone had money to blow. Guy in front of me at the checkout somehow spent $300.
The M-11EV is some vintage 80's microrecorder. Have no clue what it's worth but it's pretty damn neat. Works too.
Been wanting one of these, but have not been wanting to pay the price for one till now.
Yesterday:
$5 Sony LCD monitor
Today:
$5 PlayStation 2 Analog Controller (The rare one SCPH-10520)

I found a complete copy of Gitaroo Man (PS2) in good condition for $10 at a junk store near me. Anyone know if there is a way to tell if it's a reprint copy or an original?
