You have to pay attention to the voltage and more importantly, the amperage ratings of the power supply-vs-the draw of the unit. Another is the tip/ring of the power supply, most game systems are DC and don’t like it when you reverse the polarity. I once plugged a regular Genesis power supply into my Sega CD and fried it!
