    Default Great news! Gamecube Development!

Seems through a backdoor in PSO, Gamecube homebrew development has started. Now, before anyone even bothers to ask, NO, this is not a pirate type thing...nor will it work to that effect. But, homebrew devs are creating some demos already running on the GC, as well as a port of the Linux xRick (Rick Dangerous) running on the Gamecube! Great news indeed, as this may lead to some more neat homebrew stuff and perhaps some emulation down the road on our beloved Gamecubes! Very good news indeed. Check GCDev for more info:

Um, how would we ever burn this stuff? I don't know about you, but I don't have a burner that writes GC proprietary mini-DVDs.

    Buy the original games.

    Homebrew is cool though.

Anyway, as for burning discs, this is not what it is about. You actually upload the programs through your network card on the PC directly to the GC.

What the hell? No one said anything about piracy. Homebrew was exactly what we were talking about here.
