    Default Wtb: Snes

Im looking for a cheap NTSC NES and maybe a few games. I live in Europe (Sweden), so the shipping is also important...

After searching for a "cheap" SNES for a month the best I found was $15 without a power brick. That raised it to $25.

Shipping to Sweden would be atrocious from the US. Looking at a cost of $40 just to ship it.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

Well I have an NTSC SNES. US model 1 (JPN tabs cut). Some extra japanese games are an option.

If you need any of them, there's also all official cables. nintendo controllers + composite AV + RF box + power adapter.

The power adapter however would involve a 110V converter. And obviously add a pound to already likely slow/expensive postage...
While I doubt you'd want NTSC RF box. Especially if your TV takes way superior RGB video.

Yeah! Thats the problem. Shipping to Sweden. The console itself is not expensive but 40 USD for postage will kill me (and my wallet). Maybe I can just buy a PAL one and play the games that I really want from NTSC region (like Mario RPG or Chrono Trigger) on the Virtual Console. Im not sure what else is for the NTSC snes that never came to Europe, but maybe I can live without it. And of course I will never ever buy and play Earthbound on the snes.

Im not sure what to do...

Perhaps model 2 might cost less to ship. I've got one also. (no JPN mod though) The redesign never came to Europe.

The reason I'm hesitant to sell mine, is better RGB. It's really too bad model 2 first needs a mod to restore that.

Is model 2 better or worse? How much can it cost?

Modding the model 2 is a snap for me, I've done two in the last two months and both looked absolutely amazing.

The only real downsides to a model 2 (SNES Jr) is the lack of RGB and S-Video. They also tend to cost more than a model 1 for some reason despite being crippled.

Good to know that's available. Unless I sell the model 2.
Still one thing at a time. I'm currently waiting for arrival of my pricey DVD gamecube case.
