Wizards & Warriors - I liked this series. Ironsword pretty much sucked and was almost impossible to beat, but the first one, the third one, and W&W X: Fortress of Fear were all games that I had fun playing.

For its time, NARC wasn't too bad.

I would have to agree, though...their recent offerings are some of the worst titles in the history of gaming. Nobody's going to be sad to see them go. I hope a decent company picks up Wizards & Warriors, though, 'cause I can see a sequel to that game doing well perhaps. But only perhaps...

Burnout and Burnout2 are both awesome racers. To me, the fact that most of Acclaim's games suck doesn't have too much bearing on me since I only buy good games (), but it'll be nice for the consumers who don't know as much. Always a shame to see another publisher go down the drain, though.

Nope, all of the Wizards & Warriors games were developed by Rare.
NARC was developed by Williams, I believe.

On a related bit of funniest, speaking of Wizards and Warriors X: Fortress of Fear... when I was a kid I played that for the first time at the Nintendo Power Fest 1990. I loved the first W&W and so did my mom and we were like "If this is #10 (X = 10) then where did all the other ones go?" So we spent like three years trying to track down all the ones we missed. LMAO, how naive we were.
