Can't it be both? It's not a "good" game, it's just weird as hell and hilarious. If you're not already drawn by the concept it might not be for you.
You have to at LEAST play the game. It's weird but it's pretty damn funny.
I think Mister Mosquito is awesome, honestly. It's also one of the only PS2 games my other half enjoys.
Plus it's got the Reckless Cyclist hidden mini game, a hilariously simple and dumb game that can suck a few hours away.
I love it. It's fun, creepy, and no mainstream developer would tackle something like it today. Also, I own the import and it might have some of my favorite cover art.
