    Default Massive AtariProtos.com Update

Ok, so I've been a little behind on my updates. Well good things come to those who wait, and AtariProtos is going to prove that in spades. Take a gander at the all the new reviews I put up today: http://www.atariprotos.com/

For the 2600 we've got Halloween, Innerspace, Atom Smasher, Track and Field, Golf Diagnostic Cart, the Amiga Power Play Arcade series, Going Up??, Missile Command, Defender, Surfs Up, and a new look at Peek-a-Boo.

For the 5200 we've got Astro Grover and Muppet-Go-Round

And finally for the Atari 8-bit we have Donkey Kong Junior.

I hope you enjoy this update, as I had a lot of fun putting it together.

So informative as always Mr. T. Astro Grover would be cool to have for 5200, but the owner is one of those proto misers. My uncle had that game for DOS I think back in the 80's, because my cousins would be playing it all the time. It was also released on the NES as "Sesame Street 1-2-3" along with Ernie's Magic Shapes. Letter Go Round also got to the NES as half of Sesame Street A-B-C, along with another Ernie game.

Does this mean they're still finding new protos after all this time!?

    How, exactly?

I'm glad about the updates, I've been checking for new info less and less over time. I'm always fascinated when new protos surface.

Without question. Usually seems to be someone who finds it clearing out their storage, or their dad's, or a friend's. You're talking about people who are usually not collectors, so they don't think anything of it. There's also the times where a collector does have one, for many many years but doesn't tell anybody on-line about it. Unfortunately, much of the newest "discoveries," particularly with the oldest systems, haven't been released to the public as the dollar signs $$$ step in.
