Default List of DS Games that Extend Gameplay onto Both Screens (Vertical)

I'm looking for some help to put together a list of DS games that extend the gameplay onto both screens. Another way to explain this is that both screens act as a single vertical orientation monitor. Most games obviously use both DS screens, but not together as one. I'm looking for games that do this throughout a good majority of the gameplay, not ones that have mini games or parts where it is seldom used. I'm disappointed that this technique was underused and not taken advantage of. It would have worked really well for shmups.

I got some of the games from this thread: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/925329-/61648842

    Example:

    Truly vertical
    Arkanoid DS
    Big Bang Mini
    Bubble Bobble Revolution
    Contra 4
    Devilish
    Dragon Quest IV
    Dragon Quest V
    Dragon Quest VI
    Dragon Quest IX
    Game & Watch Collection (arguable)
Game & Watch Collection 2 (arguable)
    Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
    Lunar Dragon Song
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!
    Metroid Prime Pinball
    Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
    Pac-Pix
    Peggle DS
    Sonic Rush
    Sonic Rush Adventure
    Space Invaders Extreme
    Space Invaders Extreme 2
    Space Invaders Revolution
A Topsy Turvy Life: The Turvys Strike Back
    Windy X Winham
    Yoshi's Island DS
    Yoshi Touch & Go

Not truly vertical (screens are not continuous/contiguous)
    Chronos Twins
    Infinite Space
    Monster Tale
    Pac Pix
    Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble
    The World Ends With You

Both Sonic Rush titles definitely fall under this category.

Monster Tale might too. The top and bottom screens show different things, but your monster partner can go between them.

The trouble comes in handling the break in-between the screens. Yoshi's Island, for instance, actually let Yoshi disappear into the gap completely, such that you could be hit by unseen enemies.

    Anyway, how about:
    Bubble Bobble Revolution
    Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
    Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
    Peggle DS
    Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble
    Windy X Winham

Yoshi Touch & Go and Pac Pix comes to mind. While not the whole game, several modes in Tetris DS use both screens like this too.

Lunar Dragon Song. Battles would take place on both screens, and also I think anime sequences would take place on both screens as well.

Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Thanks for all the replies. The list is already longer than I thought it would get, which is good. I actually have some of these games and either didn't remember or haven't played them yet. I also have some new games to check out now too. Keep them coming if you have any more.

There were 3 that I didn't put in the list because I don't see anything being done as one, big vertical screen: Monster Tale, Pac Pix, and Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble. If I'm missing something, then let me know, but I just didn't see it.

Good point. I agree, but I can still live with the gap just to have some vert action.

In Pac Pix, you can direct Pac Man to go through the tunnel in the top screen, which connects the top left and top right sides of the bottom screen. Ghost also appear in the top screen which you shoot down with arrows from the bottom screen.

I actually found this really annoying in both Contra 4 and the Sonic Rush games.

It led to a lot of unnecessary deaths in both games when the game focuses you on one screen only to change it up in the face of a tricky jump or another wave of enemies. I don't think the idea of two screens is bad but it is really annoying when both screens share the same game-world and you need to switch your focus again and again. TWENTY gets a pass here because the top screen can effectively be automated or player controller at the push of a button. This idea was never fun to me and usually served as a hindrance to the game rather then really adding anything that a scrolling screen couldn't already accomplish.

Well, if you're going to count that, you might as well throw in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

Ok, I see that now. Added.

    What game is TWENTY?

These barely pass but I'll add them. Battles seem to take place on both screens, but nothing really happens on the top screen that I see.
