i would like to ask experts that i suppose to link up 2 PC Engine GT, but the communiction cable is for Turbo Express. Is it possible to use American version cable to link up my 2 Japanese version Turbo Express?

i would like to ask experts that i suppose to link up 2 PC Engine GT, but the communiction cable is for Turbo Express. Is it possible to use American version cable to link up my 2 Japanese version Turbo Express?
If the ports are the same it should work fine. The GT and the TurboExpress are basically the same unit with a one pin difference on the huCard slot.
