    Default Wii U analogue concern

To those here who have had hands on experience with a Wii U controller, gamepad or the conventional one, are the analogue sticks awkwardly placed for pushing the ABXY button layout below? I just wonder this as I would think that platforming and first person shooters would be awkward with up high stick placement. I just hope it isn't as I plan on purchasing the system sometime before X-mas.

I haven't been near one, but I smiled when I first saw it. It looks perfectly logical to me. The 360 always bothered me with its asymmetrical analogs. Even height analogs should, in theory, be more ergonomic.

I believe he's inquiring about how well the 4 face buttons operate, not how comfortable the right analog is.

Really? I always found the Xbox controller sticks and triggers easier to use than the Dual Shock. Sure the Dpad sucks generally on the'box but otherwise I feel it's a superior design.

I would agree, but I think if the 360 had symmetrical analog sticks, it would be even better still.

I prefer the GameCube/Xbox/360 layout the best for dual analog. Having the analog in neutral thumb position does add a bit more precision over the Playstation/Classic Controller layout in 3D games. I'm also interested in whether the atypical analog placement for the Wii U controllers will be an issue.

Yeah, basically I'm concerned in how using the button interface will be with the right analogue stick being so high. It just looks awkward to press any of the buttons, while also regularly controlling the right stick.
