    Default My new year's resolution

On the off chance that someone here may be interested...

This year, I've decided I'm going to cut back on game collecting. Instead, I'm gonna work on clearing my back-catalogue and actually completing every game I own.

To help with this effort, I'm starting a new blog to document my victories.

One of my rules is "it doesn't count unless I have pictures or videos." So each entry is gonna have one or the other.

I went ahead and listed Contra (though that'll be old news to some of you). My next conquest will likely be Dragon Spirit: the New Legend (already beat it, but didn't record, so it doesn't qualify yet).

Just thought someone might be interested.

    See ya later.

Not a bad idea. I've often thought about using my highly underused blogspace for something similar, but I just don't have the interest level to bother.

    Hey Edmond,
Good goal to have there, bro. Coincidentally, I very recently wrote on my website about what has kept my SNES fire burning the past 7 years. Part of what has spurred me on is focusing on one game at a time, trying to go from beginning to end. Not every game I'm able to beat, but I play until I can't anymore. It's incredibly satisfying.

    Have fun with the journey.

That's a pretty good idea, actually.

My new year's resolution is 1920 x 1080. No, but in all seriousness, I don't really have a new year's resolution. However, I am actually going to try and focus on getting complete versions of games I've already got, instead of just buying new ones.

Great idea, I wish you good luck. Another board Im on has an NES challenge, and Im going to cheat, but Im going to complete every game they listed. Its the usual hard as hell games everyone lists. So I dont feel bad about cheating, I just want to play through all of them haha.

    Thank you all!

Taking a break from recording Dragon Spirit: the New Legend at the moment (I'm trying to record all the Maiden cutscenes, both rescued and un-rescued). Funny how things suddenly get frustrating when you start taping them. But the good news is I'll have a permanent record of victory, so that next time I play it I can just play for fun without worrying about what I might be missing.
