Picked up a GameCube at a flea market for $5 non working. I thought I could fix it, until I opened it and found it to be severely liquid damaged. It has lots of rust and corrosion. Maybe someone who has Jesus hands can fix it. Make an offer.

Judging from the pics, I'd say this one was bought round the xmas of 03.
It's not a complete loss; I think the plastic shell may be useful for a modding / recasing project!
Looks more like a parts unit than a fixable unit.

I would say it's repairable, but at what cost. It will be more cost and time than it's worth. I wouldn't even use it for parts since I don't know the condition of all the parts. It's quite possible that nothing will work in it.

So I hooked it up and it powers on. Didn't test any further than this screen
doesent seem liquid damaged to me. it seems as if it came from a very humid costal town, some plae with a large body of salty water and the owners house didnt have very good circulation....that or they had one of those salt crystal lamp things....
