From last Friday. We were out and stopped at a few sales. Nothing gaming at the sales, but this one place had a box full of portable music players. $3 each. I left a few behind that I didn't know anything about. Guy said they all work as though he tested them, but I still have to double check. He also had the gloves for $0.75 each, I think he gave me one free.
Then at the thrift I frequent they had Mario Galaxy. There was no price on it, so their usual policy is 'absolutely no sale'. I'm not sure why, but they priced it right there at $5.99 (but then 25% off). No manual, but disc is nice.
I had a decent haul over the weekend. My cousin and I attended the 2013 CORGS show in Columbus, OH and we hit up several stores in the area as well. I also dropped by the flea market the following day and found some deals.
The bulk of the items in this picture came from the show, a Gamestop we found, and a retro game shop that was in the area that wasn't in attendance at CORGS.
The Quackshot was $5 and found at the show. The Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition was found at a local game store we ran into completely by accident. My cousin was dead set on going to a Krispy Kreme we saw and while in there I asked a local if he knew where a Gamestop was in the area. He directed me to this local store just up the street from where we were instead. The PC games were acquired at the show and were $2 each but also B1G1F so I basically got all four for $1 each.
The CD-I games were found at the show in a box that one of the vendors hadn't quite set out yet. I think I paid $15 for all of them. The Clue and World Cup Golf are still sealed. The vendor also had a sealed Lemmings for CD-I but wanted $40 for it so I passed. The KORG DS-10 and Master of Illusion were found at the one Gamestop we ran across on our way to snag lunch/dinner (linner? dunch? ). It was nice to see the Master of Illusion had the box and cards inside still. The Magical Drop 2 was acquired at the show but it turns out I already have the game!
These boxed GB/GBC/GBA games were found at a vendor at the flea market the following day. I spied the boxes in a box behind the counter and the guy said he was getting ready to dump them on eBay in a lot. I picked these out and he wanted $7.50 each/$30 for the whole bunch. The only thing missing from them was that Elevator Action did not have it's clamshell case (which is fine because I have a TON of those).
This last picture isn't a find so much as it was a purchase from someone on another board I frequent. It was a little pricey but I'm glad to have paid because I acquired one of my most sought after Holy Grails in Bonk 3.
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
Picked up a few things at a couple of flea markets today. Nothing really photo worthy. I got a NIB copy of Bakugan Defenders of the Core for the DS with the action figure for $4. I know that was probably too much, but I thought it was cool. Form another one I grabbed 3 N64 loose carts for $5 total. They are Super Mario World 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Party. I figured that wasn't a bad deal. I almost picked up 3 GCN games from a different dealer at the same sale. I found them laying in a box with some books and they each had a piece of masking tape on them with a price of 25 cents. When I went up to pay for them, the guy got an "Oh crap" look on his face and commented that the other guy hadn't priced them yet. The other guy came over and said that he hadn't put their prices on them yet. He then started to comment that one of them went for $20 online, etc. and just told him that if he wasn't selling them for the tagged price that he could keep them. The only one of the 3 games that I can remember was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I think I still have a sealed copy of that and I have no idea what the other 2 were. No big loss for me.
This weeks haul.
