    SUNDAY FLEA MARKET:

    small local flea market..
The first thing I saw and was like WHOA!!!!!! was a SNOOPY NINTENDO GAME & WATCH TABLE TOP..

Same ole at flea markets,I grab something and here comes the “Gotta See”what he’s got..
The vendor was busy so I held it in hand while people looked over my shoulders..it’s been on the table all day,not a good sign as the price must be high..
As the vendors gabbing I’m thinking in my head..What’s he going to say,$25.00..30-40..No way it’ll be $10-15
..the inner screen looked Baked as if the LCD melted solid from heat..It had batteries in it,I spun them and got nothing..

He turns and says $200.00...I say HUH?..He says on ebay they sell for $250.00 all day and in the box they are $800.00..OKAY..
The vendor next to him says,Well you can’t play with the box right..I laugh and carefully put it down..I asked does it work,He says yes but he didn’t put new batteries in it..(for 200 you can’t put batteries in it..(& the dollar battery guy to his right)
I HATE when vendors hit me with Ebay prices..
I’d had thrown $50 on it as is...I took the picture later as it sat till closing time ..
Good luck to other pickers if you get it cheaper..just make sure to test it..

    Saturday..This stuff was a joint pick=up between friends..Stuff I sell..

I haven't had many interesting game finds lately, but:

    Saturday
    Forsaken (PS1) CIB - $2

Shadoan (DVD Version with PS2 text) - $1 at a Dollar Tree, brand new.

And I got all the GTA games on Steam for sixteen bucks - it included Vice City with the old audio (Rockstar had to remove some songs due to music licensing issues, and no way was I gonna miss MJ on my Vice City!)

I ended up picking a nice selection of bootleg Game Boy (Color) games, shame that one or two of them have had their contents switched though.

I only bought one thing today - "Miyuki-chan in Wonderland". I grabbed it because it was anime and by Clamp so I figured, how bad it could be?

Then I read the back. "From the seductive Cheshire Cat to the S&M Queen of Hearts..." what the fuck. IMDB isn't helping either!

Hyper-anime lesbian adventure parody based on Lewis Carroll's novel, Alice Through the Looking Glass, a short that compliments and comes with Miyuki-Chan in Wonderland (1995).

Hah, that takes me back. I was in the newly created anime club in my senior year of high school, and one week nobody remembered to bring in a tape so we all took a short walk to the house of the biggest anime nerd in the whole club. This kid probably had hundreds of anime tapes, goodness knows what kind of money he spent to form that collection back then, and of ALL the tapes he had, he insisted that we watch Miyuki-chan in Wonderland. And it was terrible, haha. Those descriptions really do sum it up. It's a Clamp retelling of the Alice in Wonderland story, where just about everything is represented as a sexy woman (if I remember correctly, I think there was even a door that was a woman) and it's dripping with yuri innuendo.

Nice. With so many people finding earthbounds I'm surprised they sell for as much as they do.

I picked up a sealed Windows Vista Professional. Seven bucks.

I know, very few people use Vista, but it's new so it's gotta be worth at least fifty bucks. :P

What are you so excited about? I don't see any good games there at all. I'll do you a favor and take them off your hands for a buck a game.

NICE! I missed out on an SNES lot on CL for $220 including a bunch of desirables and Earthbound. Someone told them what they had or they wised up.

The earthbound wasnt even listed in the CL ad. I only noticed it when I got it all home.
I barely looked through everything/anything when I met the guy, I had to drive almost an hour both ways and go into wicked ghetto territory to buy it. I almost diddnt buy it all when i first saw it because the snes was missing the dust flap.
Also the Zombies was supposed to be complete in original box. Turns out ex-rental with cut box front. I guess I cant complain though

I will note that 1) imgur seems to delete any blank lines (which was the only problem I had with imgur as a means of hosting all of these pictures) and 2) I didn't double check everything I typed up so if anything is messed and doesn't make sense that is most likely why. Proof reading all of this in bulk is just too much for a guy like me who is better with numbers then letters.
Jesus Christ. I would sell my soul to the devil for a fraction of those finds. I check the scant few options I have available to me, and I come up dry or with ebay prices every time.

It's incredibly discouraging to look as hard as you can and see other people find treasure troves on a regular basis.

Do you have any unconventional tips? I'm getting ready to quit trying to collect at this point, and I'm not even aiming at more desirable systems like SNES, Saturn, or TG-16.
