trying to remember the name of a game

This is going to be tough..

As a kid, I remember playing an arcade game at the local bowling alley. It had a big nintendo logo on the side of it. I swear you played as some bear. First level was like a forest. There were vines on the top that you would often use to get across things (vines did not move)
it was a side scroller

Thats about all I remember but I remember playing it alot and never getting far and want to play now.

That was just before the first official side-scrollers started to show up.

Year 1982.

I imagine 1983's Major Havoc would be one of the very first side-scrollers (or maybe uni-directional scroller?)
