I do like to watch pickup videos. Mainly to see what games other people are picking up. I like channels where they say a little about the game. If I've never heard of it I'll check it out and see if I might like it. However, I see why someone would get irritated at a lot of them. I don't understand picking up a game you know is shit just because it was $1. If it's shit, it's not worth it at any price IMO. I only pickup games I want to play.

Sega: SMS, Genesis, Game Gear, Nomad, Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast

Hey, this thread has been pretty helpful for me.

I have my own YouTube channel which I am obligated to plug:
Excuse the bits of Japanese in it. I seem to get a lot of hits from Japan, so I cater to them.

It's not the most organized or professionally done channel, but I like to keep it up for the contents available.

Currently most of what I record myself involve either Satellaview or Sega Pico ROMs and emulation, since both have been developing over the past few years. Since I have a major Satellaview research project, as well, a lot of content from said project ends up on there in a broader sense.

It also has re-uploads from NicoNicoDouga, mostly based on what looks like an interesting retro video game media piece. There's a lot of promo/tips n' tricks VHSes and whatnot that aren't going around on YouTube, as well as footage of Family Basic programs and whatnot.

Hopefully some of my videos there are worth your time.

I forgot to mention spida1a of turbo views.Sure he doesn't have the time to put out video's on a regular basis any more, but he's still the best turbografx 16 reviewer out there.

I just subscribed to Happy Video Game Nerd and I have to say his optimistic views are similar to my own and he doesn't just review the obviously great games but he dips into some with not the best reviews and shows why they can be really fun to play now. I highly recommend his channel

Gamester81 makes some great videos, and Joe Gagne's Funtime Arcade is pretty cool if you're into wrestling games.

    Default Gaming and Drinks

Hey everybody. Tired of the same old "Let's play" video's out there, I decided to start recording my own concept for a show where I review the experience of drinking a drink while playing a retro game. Here's a link to a two-player review of Ikari Warriors while drinking Whiskey on the rocks: https://youtu.be/1SftDfFXp9c . There's also a review of Rum and Coke/ Lifeforce on my channel as well. I know the audio/video quality is terrible, but why invest in a better quality until I get feedback on the idea? Note these are totally unscripted, but storyboarding and improvements are planned. I just want to get an idea if people like or hate the concept. Feel free to like/dislike or comment how you feel. I'm completely open to suggestions. Go ahead and bash me, but please tell me why. It's all for fun, and like I said: SOMETHING DIFFERENT. There's plenty of videos to watch if you want real reviews.
