Default Faint Diagonal Waves in Fullscreen mode of WinVice-2.1

When I go to the Fullscreen mode of WinVice-2.1 there are some faint diagonal lines that roll across the screen. These lines/waves disappear when I play with the Resolution in the Video Settings and only appear when the screen is "perfectly" framed in my monitor. What gives?

Should I tweek my Video Settings, and, if so, how? Is this an external monitor issue?

    Thanks for the help!!

So, there is a 2.4 edition of WinVICE that makes the line/wave issue a non-problem. Good stuff. No reason trying to tape together a tear in yesterday's newspaper, eh?

I was about to say why aren't you using version 2.4, but you've solved that yourself
