Default Game Boy Micro backlight repair.

I just got a GB Micro in a a bundle of games and the backlight is out on it. I saw some videos on Youtube and it doesn't seem hard to take apart but none of the vids address a dead backlight. Can anyone help me out here? I'm pretty handy and feel comfortable doing the repair if someone can show me how.

    Thanks

LCD is toast, there's no repairing it and there are no aftermarket replacements. Sorry man

After doing more research I realized that it needs a new LCD. It's just a shame that these things are so hard to find period. I'll probably have to throw it on Ebay for parts since the rest of it is in really good condition.

I might want the board if you decide to part it out. I have one that has a a broken link/power port.
