    Default GBA screen modding help

I have an origional white GBA which is my favorite asthetics wise. I have an extra sp 101 coming in and want to put the screen from that into the origional GBA.

So far my mini gaming tech experience Is i have swapped the insides of 2 sp's to get the brighter screen into the NES Classic version. I have replaced a ds light case and screen and i have repaired the sound on my turbo express handheld. Amongst other things those where the more tasking.

Any help or links would be greatly appreaciated.

I believe this link will help http://imgur.com/gallery/5jbCb
It shows that you need a conversion ribbon cable and need to solder one wire.

You can purchase the cable here http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14045909056
This is a very trusted chinese site where useres sell items. Think of it as ebay for hand made stuff. There is another site in english that helps you purchase from toaboa (name of this chinese site).

    Cheers!

Could also always do the afterburner mod

    Here is one
    http://www.engtaobao.com/item/14045909056.html

    The seller suggested these sites
    http://zarmark.com

    http://www.yoybuy.com/

    http://www.bhiner.com/home

I've personally used http://buyfromtaobao.com but their site seems to be down right now.

Googles translation of the original page is rough but is seems like there are two gba motherboards. one has a 32pin connector and the other has a 40pin connector. From what I can gather this is for the 32pin connector model, and the 40 pin connector is another page.
For the 40pin model the cable you buy depends on the screen youre putting in. Either the first sp screen, or the super bright one.
You should be able to email him though. In english too I believe

For some reason my browser just wont let me do anything on those sites and the recommended sites are too precise for me to find em.
I have tried multiple channels of getting the ribbons I need. and know which ones I need.
I just sent Zerey Zhang a message. Sucks I'm gonna have to wait a month. But it will be worth it.

Not to bump the heck out of an old thread, but we do have the kits in stock now, and plenty of them. Dunno if you ever managed to get things squared away via Zerey or not.
