This might be just me being picky, but it might be worthwhile to note when the PSP port has significant upgrades.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for example has additional characters and game modes.

99% of the games ported to the PSP have some extras because they're required. Breath of Fire 3 has extra fishing mode. Disgaea has an additional story mode as Etna like if she killed Laharl at the beginning. Final Fantasy Tactics is retranslated and has some extras like the Dark Knight class, Onion Knight class, Balthier, etc. Star Ocean Second Evolution has 99.9% of the main scenes voice acted and a lot of private event scenes voiced, along with another extra character and a triple attack instead of single attack.
Basically they're ports, just enhanced ports. Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together is enhanced more than most that it is a completely different game from the original in terms of how the game plays.
Speaking of whether something is a port or not, isn't Phantom Brave: Heroes of the Hermuda Triangle actually a sequel?
Haven't played it, but from Amazon...
"Phantom Brave: Heroes of the Hermuda Triangle is a single player turn-based tactical Role-Playing game (RPG) for play on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld gaming system. A reimagining of the original 2004 Phantom Brave game for PS2, Heroes of the Hermuda Triangle utilizes the franchises play mechanism known and the "CONFINE" system which combines usable phantom characters with elements of a map, allowing for unique movement throughout the game, attacks and play opportunities that are limited only by your imagination. Additional features include: new story chapters, characters, items not seen in the original game release and randomly generated dungeons. "
So basically like Disgaea. Same game with extra content added.
