A couple questions to all :
How does everybody store their games.
Also for the CD based games , does anybody use CD carrying cases to store their disks and if they do what variety (like as big as possible or offiicial brand , ect.)

I put my cart games into plastic drawers, in various sizes, all like these:

I keep all CD based games in CD booklets, usually 200 sized books, and keep the booklets in those drawers too.

My portable games are stored in a carry case with removable slots and also layered sections for manuals.....all made out of cardboard and tape! I don't know what I was thinking, but it works great!

My Genny games are stored in these black plastic official game cases that hold like 12 carts. Aren't anything special.

My SNES games are stored in the plastic baggies or their plastic case (for the early ones), and they are collectively stored in a non-protected box top under my bed.

My NES games are stored in these white plastic pull-out drawer tubs I got from Wal-Mart. This is the BEST way to store NES games, period! You can perfectly fit two rows in each drawer with all games in their black cases. There's however around a one inch space in the back that I put cardboard and you really can't reach into the very end edge of the drawer unless you take it out. I should go and buy like 10 more (if they are still available). Why didn't I think of this?

PS1 games are stored in their jewel cases. GameCube games are stored in their DVD-esque cases.

Atari carts are stacked on sloppy piles

I use VHS/DVD racks ($15 each at Wal-Mart) and VHS/DVD/CD towers ($13 each at Menards). I sent my pics into the Room of Doom but I don't think it's been posted yet. It's a nice looking and easy access way to do it (though I would like everything faced instead).

I store my NES games in some Keystone Peach boxes and a few plastic crates that my dad got for me. The latter holds 90 carts perfectally, the former holds 40 games perfectally.

Atari 2600 games fit into those penny boxes which you can get at the bank. However you have to store them on the side, and you can't see the titles. This doesn't bother me since I only have around 10 games that I reguarly play.

My grandfather had made me a crate for CDs before he had died. It fits my SNES games perfectally.

Last but not least, my N64 games are in another penny box though I modified it to fit them. Same with Genesis.
