Craigslist: PS3 Prototype Console?

So, I stumbled across this and thought I'd share. With Sony having their North American HQ in the general area, it's likely legit. It seems like a cool find, but I really wonder what else would be unique about this console besides the label on the bottom? Perhaps custom firmware with experimental features? What do you guys think about this and the asking price?

It looked like a standard original phat PS3 but on the underside label it said "Prototype Playstation 3". I remember reading somewhere that people collected prototype versions of playstation consoles and there are several in the hands of collectors for each model including the slim and super slim. They are probably not worth more than $400 right this moment. Possibly 10-20 years from now they will demand huge price tags. Also from what i understand Sony stamps each individual board inside their prototype systems with a prototype label.
