does mega everdrive work good on CDX?

What I mean is will I be missing out on any key features? Especially bios loading. Because one of the main reasons I want a everdrive is for having a region free cd setup. I already have a model 1 genesis with32x I will be using for 32x gaming.

I'd just advise not trying to region mod CDX, for games with Japanese mode differences or need 50hz. Far easier on the model 1 genesis.

You shouldn't miss any good features. It still has RGB out and plays Master System games.

I'm not planning on modding my CDX, I was asking if the everdrive bios loading function works on CDX. Because I know the xeye has issues.

As long as it's a valid bios file sure.

Yeah. It should work fine.

I have the basic Everdrive and the bios loading works fine on my CDX and I believe it worked on my X'Eye as well. The only issue being on the X'Eye you had to hit the reset button and then it would load up.

I couldn't get it to work with every game however. I REALLY want to play Cosmic Fantasy Stories, but I cant get it to load on either system with the JP Bios.
